Calibration plots for each analyte resulted from exposure of chloride and pH assays to standard chloride and buffer solutions, capture of images of the assays using a digital single-lens reflex camera (EOS 6D; Canon, Tokyo, Japan), and image analysis (Photoshop, Adobe Systems, CA, USA).
